Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3
The third generation of Adidas' pinnacle road racer, introduced April 2026 at a staggering 97 grams with a 39/36mm Lightstrike Pro Evo platform. Released April 25, 2026 in limited quantities at $500, with wider availability expected later in the year. Strictly an elite marathon race-day shoe, and not a purchase most runners will ever be able to make, or should.
Reach for the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3 for race day. It's a neutral shoe, best for runners with an efficient stride who don't need pronation support. The tall, soft stack favors comfort over ground feel. That's great for high mileage and bigger runners, less so for racing snappiness.

- Full 39mm race-legal stack
- Direct successor to WR-setting Evo line
- $500 and extremely limited quantities

- Unforgiving for slower or heavier runners
