It is a big price and geometry jump from the $140 unplated Rebel v5, which simpler-trainer fans may prefer while stock lasts.
Reach for the New Balance SC Rebel v1 for tempo days and intervals, everyday training miles and race day. It's a neutral shoe, best for runners with an efficient stride who don't need pronation support. The tall, soft stack favors comfort over ground feel. That's great for high mileage and bigger runners, less so for racing snappiness.
